Dr. Natalya Shannon works with some of the Medical and Surgical Clinic of Irving’s youngest patients in the  pediatrics department. Fluent in both Russian and English, Dr. Shannon is always at her best when dealing with children and infants, with the understanding that they are among our most important and delicate patients.
Dr. Shannon began her career in pediatrics at the University of Texas at Arlington, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biology and magna cum laude honors. She spent the next four years at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and eventually earned her medical degree. With her formal education completed, she participated in a pediatric internship program at the University of Texas Southwestern medical Center working at the Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, where she also completed her pediatrics residency.
She joined the Medical and Surgical Clinic of Irving in 2005, where she has flourished as a member of the pediatrics team.
